Fishing for Schools was developed by world renowned fly fisherman Charles Jardine. Since 2007, Fishing for Schools has taken young people out of the classroom and into the countryside, developing confidence and learning new skills.
Over 9,000 crimes reported at churches across UK
The Countryside Alliance’s latest investigation has revealed that from 2022 to 2024, over 9,000 crimes have been committed on church property as well as other religious premises.
Figures were obtained by the Countryside Alliance as part of its continuous campaign to focus attention on rural churches and increase funding for security at places of worship.

The Countryside Alliance was pleased to host a Rural Reception in the Churchill Room of the House of Commons last night (23 April). MPs and peers from across the political spectrum joined Alliance staff to discuss issues of importance to rural communities, strengthen relationships with us and support our mission as the voice of the countryside.
